Short films from the Great-britN modular meeting last weekend
Last weekend we held the 5th FREMO Great-britN meeting, at a barn where I live.
Here are two short films I made during the meeting.
First a teaser.
And a 10 minutes film.
I hope you enjoy it.

More work on the junk dealer
Hi guys,
I was able to work some more on the junk dealer area this week, I got it fenced up about 2/3 of the way. The fence frames are 1/32" brass rod were soldered to the posts and the chain link is very fine mesh I got in a craft store for $2 way back then... The frames are completed and I just need to add the chain link screen to them. It's not perfect, but I prefer it over the plastic chain link fence from Walthers (not bashing the product, I just saw someone try to work with it and saw first hand how difficult it is!).

Train Ride # 3 with Camera with an Update on the Union Station Engine Facility Plus the New N-Scale BLI Water Tower
This is the third Train Ride with the Cube Camera & shows some of the sections of the layout not shown in the previous two camera train rides. Once again, the camera is facing backward on the depressed center flat car. The two car train is led by an N-scale Kato E8A with a motor decoder only. The trip starts out with the train exiting the West Helix then through Michaelson Junction and around the main level of the center peninsula and back to Union Station.
Custom E8 Rolls with Tsunami 2 Sound
www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5UJcSqsPKg
This is a fairly basic video of a few test runs following an installation of a Soundtraxx Tsunami 2 EMD decoder. This is a BLI E8 customized with a Highliners nose and custom modifications and scratchbuilt details too numerous to list here. She is a museum quality build by Mr. John Tyson (yes, the same talented modeler with the incredible HO scale RC vehicles and shrinky dink automobiiles). The best Easter Egg discovered during the install was the cab signal indicator nestled between the windshields.
Ambroid Caboose build
I got a vintage Ambroid Outside Braced Caboose kit a few weeks ago, and started braving the project. It will be an intermittent thing, spaced among other projects, as I don’t need the caboose in a hurry—but I got it at a great price—under $10.
