SJ&P Heavyweight Coaches

I've been trying out some paint schemes.  None of these leave me completely happy with them, but I'd welcome any feedback.  I'd like to include a bit of red somehow, but it's looking a bit too bright with the dark green whenever I try it.

In the era I'm hoping to model, these coaches would be quite old and relegated to secondary duties on less glamorous routes, as streamlined carriages become the norm on the more prestigious trains.

The Joy Of Cad

So, now that Highschool has come along I have had the joy of picking and elective class. I am deciding on pre-engineering and am learning the cad software. (Actually quite simple to me) and at one point I get to design a file for both a 3d printer and laser cutter projects. I want something for my modelling so any ideas on a good thing to try and design?

Facotry Direct Trackmobile conversion question

I have picked up a Factory Direct Trains DCC Trackmobile on eBay for a very reasonable price.  It only comes with a single working knuckle coupler.

Has anyone come across or completed a conversion to add a second coupler so it can work from both ends?
