RMC 80th Anniversary Boxcar
To All: I painted, lettered and applied the RMC 75th logo to this 40 foot Accurail outside braced boxcar. The car has full under body detail, #58 Kadee couplers, air hoses and coupler cut bars. The finished out the car with Bragdon Weathering powders followed by a flat sealer coat. The RMC 75th logo was lifted from magazine. Photo by Elvin Howland. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. HRRC Boxcar
To All: HRRC are the reporting marks of the Housatonic Railroad. The original line was formed in 1840 in southwest New England and the modern incarnation was chartered in 1983 as a Class III short line. I painted and lettered this "What If" 40 foot boxcar to run on my layout. Photo and Herald copy work by Elvin Howland. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout.
