8.5"x47" Mini TOMA layout that stores in only 4"x8.5"x11.75"
Hello all I have finally done it gotten myself a layout albeit a very small one but one with room for infinite expansion. The layout will be made of lasercut modules each measuring 11.75"x8.5" in size with a height of only 3/4" they feature tabs that allow the modules to stack together and store in a very small space. The layout itself will be used with a removable casset and as seen in the image (not to scale) features 4 spurs each holding at least two 40ft. cars.

I’m not linked to these guys in any way but got the email saying you can get the game for free! Their email newsletters are actually pretty interesting and even though the game is sorta old it is still a good one.

Swap Meet Treasure, show and tell
Having just got a great deal at a swap meet I was wondering if anyone else has found some amazing deals they just couldn't pass up on.
To start off here is what I got:
-Bachmann N scale train set with track and controller but -engines for $20 I had some engines already so not a bad deal.
I broke electricity
So heres the story i found two circuit boards fromacr headlight on the side of the road since they had somenice smleds. fast forward to testing them out today i discover the are red which isnt a huge deal but that is not the werd part. testing them somehow they work with only one lead. they are dim but are still lighting up. could the air be dry enouugh that it takes the current or is some other magic at work here i was under the impression you needed a fullcircuit for it to work.
