So here we have it, my first layout it is in N and not the expected HO scale but still worth all the effort. It really has to do with my brother who I passed my N scale trains onto in a way allowing him to get a layout I always dreamed about at an earlier age. Here I am about 1/3 of the way done in basic scenery and am using cardboard base to protect the table, the table itself has a great history being my first "train table" for my wooden trains (see below picture)

I recently received an email pasted below (names and phone numbers removed) giving me a chance to if i help dismantle a layout get any parts of it I want, i have yet to receive pictures but as soon as i do will post them here. So the big question is should i take it?

So, I felt the need (and was also bored) to build a container for my/my clubs NCE Powercab. I also got the repaired TCS decoder so i was able to wire it up to a pair of earbuds. (Now i just need to find a female port for it). The controller is also wired in with a track output and the USB interface. After introducing it here are the photos (with the top on and off)

I saw recently a unit train of not the typical bathtub rotary gondola. They were the low side simillar to scrap cars and pulled by 3 BNSF engines.

   Here we have the layout plan for the 2'x8' switching layout with a 4' removable staging/lead I am thinking of a height of about 3' so I can sit in a rolly chair while operating it. It includes a nice amount of industries with a list and story of the layout shown on the plan.

the question says it all. Is that possible.

Any ideas if it serves any special purpose?

So, this weekend we worked on preparing our new house for move in, in June. There are a huge amount of pro's with it shown here:

1. It is one the BNSF mainline through Hinsdale. (Includes BNSF, Metra, Amtrak, CSX, NS and some others)

2. My Room has a view of the tracks

3. Finished Basement (Any tips on getting my parents on board?)

Some things I saw this weekend: A New style autorack, Citirail engine, a patchover BN SD-40, A lower height bulkhead/wood flatcar. 

So with this being my 8th grade graduation my parents have started asking what I want. I am leaning mostly towards an AutoReverser or a Wireless Antenna (NCE) as I have one wireless throttle though no antenna. I am looking at the AutoReverser to though so I could set up a Balloon Track and/or wye. So another question going in though with the AutoReverser. Can I put the AutoReverser on the center inbetween track or would I need two one on each balloon.
