CN Longview Sub

Now has a PM42...This may not be exiting to the majority of layout owners out there, however, I was so excited when I fired it up and everything worked,  I felt I had to tell someone.

All wiring around the module is 18 G wire.  The layout bus is 14 G and can be seen leaving "Sec1" of the lower terminal block.

Longview Sub update

Work is progressing on the CN Longview Sub.

A few weeks back I received my Fast Tracks #6 Jig for making my own turnouts.  I'm very impressed with how simple the process for making a turnout has become.

The current project on the layout is installing the Cochrane yard ladder.  Although still in the "Plywood Pacific" stage, I'm happy with the progress so far.

CN Longview Sub update

Folks,

With the summer months, progress on the layout as slowed, however some things have been done.  I've installed some of the bench work above the north staging yard.  This bench work with support what will become Cochrane yard.  As of now, the main and passing siding have already been laid in to the yard, as well as a turnout for a single passenger track.  A power bus line and sub-roadbed for the track has also been installed.
