Opinion wanted: Live TMTV webcasts of interest?

We're looking at adding a new offering to TMTV, and wondering how much interest there might be.

TMTV MONTHLY LIVE WEBCAST

Video interuptions

One thing that irritates me about the host/guest videos I've watched, is the constant interruptions and talking over the guest by the host. I would ignore it if it was only one host, but I've seen the same behavior by multiple "hosts".

Their banter is usually totally unnecessary, and aggravating to listen to. Let the guest give his presentation without the inane interruptions and you will have a much more coherent, concise, and pleasant video.

These are my opinions and you are free to share yours also.

Train Masters TV Links to Videos not working

I have been going through some of the older Train Master videos and the primary link to the videos are not working. The alternate link does work.

Most of the primary links are not working. But I just checked some to give you specifics.

Dec 2013 - No primary links are working

Apr 2014 - No primary links are working

Issue with Site

Lately for me it seems the trainmasters.tv site has been real slow to load.  I have tried it from both my work machine and my home machine.  Have tried it on Windows 10 with Edge/IE and Firefox and on a Windows 8 box with IE11.  Trying to figure out if its just me or have others had this issue.  The regular model-railroad-hobbyist.com site works just fine.

Thanks.

Lost sound in video

I just signed up for Trainmasters TV today and was just watching my second video when the sound just quit. I checked my speakers and they still work fine. I was watching the video about the Portland model railroad club and it stopped the sound right after it switched to the historical B&W footage. Every once in a while there was someone talking, but no sound. Any ideas?

4.15: Siskiyou Line - Conifer trees video issues

Researching making conifers I tried to view this episode again and the normal player failed to even try the video (couldn't find it?).  The alternate player would periodically stop playing and force me to click on the play button to get it to resume.  Saw that in both normal and full screen mode.  I have no idea if other videos from this subseries have the same issues or not.

Help give a name to a new TrainMasters series.

We're planning a new series for TrainMasters TV, but it doesn't have a name yet.

What would you call an in-studio clinic segment that covers super-detailing, painting and weathering locomotives?  Submit your suggestions today.  If we use yours we'll send you a DVD copy of your choice of one of the following DVDs from the MRH store:

Extreme Weathering with Ralph Renzetti

Painting Backdrops with Chris Lyon

Streamliners at Spencer

Now, put your thinking cap on!

TMTV Standard player requires Flash under Firefox?

Firefox seems unable to support the standard video player for TMTV with Adobe Flash disabled?  With the current stance of Firefox/Mozilla disabling Flash by default (though there is a newer version available which I think just came out today) over serious security concerns this seems to be worthy of comment?

Jul 2015 Act II - DCC sound speaker tips

When it comes to onboard speakers, hearing is believing. JD Forsythe from Train Control Systems demonstrates the difference that speaker enclosures can make to the volume and quality of sound in your locomotives. Watch it now on TrainMasters TV ....
