DPDT switch

I would like to use a DPDT switch with On,Off,On capability, with this I would like to wire in some buildings(3) (1) I would like to control a 9-12 Volt LED, for interior lights, and (2) I would like to wire in 1.5 volt lights for exterior lights above the doorways, is this possible?

That's great!

Looking forward to seeing pictures.  How about a wiring diagram of what you end up doing for your lighting too?

Hay Train Guy you never need

Hay Train Guy you never need to apologize for asking questions here at MRH. I think there are alot of regulars here that live just to try to solve other Model Railroaders problems and questions. One of the main purposes we are all here is to share information and knowledge and to learn more ourselves. There is a very good book for $10.00 and you can get it through Kalmbach Books called "Basic Electricity and Electronics for Model Railroaders" It will help teach you how to read electronic schematics now to divide up voltage from a single power source for lighting structures. How many different voltages you can get from the same power supply and how to wire up lighting so you don't overload a transformer or over heat your power system. The book also has lots of diagrams that teach you how to figure out exactly what you asked in your question in your first post.
