How do I read MRH on an android tablet like a Kindle?

Below is a video demonstrating how to read MRH on an android tablet like a Kindle. The best PDF reader on Android for MRH is ezPDF Reader:

ezPDF and Hypelinks

ezPDF has a setting where you can turn off the confirmation displayed when a hyperlink is displayed.

I have the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 and it is even better for reading MRH, especially for "older eyes".

I'm looking forward to seeing the new implementation of MRH for tablet use this year.

ETA: I should also mention that the HD versions of the Kindle Flash are built on the Android 4.x code base and thus do not support Flash when using the default Silk browser.  So, you do have to use the alternate option for downloading MRH.

My son has the Kindle Fire HD

My son has the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 as mentioned above.  I am using the parental controls to ensure he doesn't "purchase" games from the shop that are not appropriate for his age (10) but I am also seeing a side effect of this.. Using the embedded PDF for portrait viewing the videos do not work when clicked.  I was using the Adobe PDF viewer app. I will try ezPDF but I expect it will have similar problems with videos.  Any suggestions out there?

Embedded edition

The Embedded Edition is only tested on PCs and targeted to desktop computers. I know of no mobile device PDF readers that will display the embedded edition media properly. Use the standard edition in almost every case - that's why it's called "standard".

Kindle Video Comments

I am glad you can read MRH on the Kindle.  To me, seeing what you had to do to get the articles in a readable state was a big turn off.  Moving the file was stone age stuff.  Are any of the other pads MRH readable and easier to use?

B&N Nook HD+

I have a Nook HD+ (1920x1280 9 inch display); 32GB, WiFi model at Wally World for $179

I download both the landscape embedded version for the PC and the standard portrait version for the Nook. I use the Adobe PDF reader on both.

Well that is unfortunate that

Well that is unfortunate that embedded edition may not work.  I was hoping to allow my son to view videos without requiring an internet connection.  Using the standard edition will be much lighter weight on the kindle disk space so will go with that instead.

Any chance of back issues being put out as portrait edition?

Why use ezPDF on Android? Am I missing something?

Okay, I haven't used ezPDF on my android 4.2.2 tablet myself, but the stock Adobe Acrobat Reader on it does all the things displayed in the video but without the drawbacks mentioned:

  •  i don't have to tap multiple times to get rid of a menu at opening time
  • when clicking on a hyperlink I do not get a pop-up confirmation
  • pages swipe easily from one page to the next or previous in continuous scrolling fashion, no problem having to swipe harder to force to go past a page border
  • when i click on the next page, previous page, index button, contents button it just does what it is supposed to do

So, either Adobe's reader has gotten better since this video was uploaded or I'm likely just missing something.

One thing that I noticed with

One thing that I noticed with Adobe PDF is that you go between pages vertically vs horizontally.  This is a bit counter intuitive if you look at this as a magazine or book...

However, the other items you mentioned worked as expected but not the embedded video..
