Measuring Ad Performance

One of the best ways to check your ad performance between different publications is to subtly mark each ad differently. Use a different URL for the landing page with each ad, for instance, or use a different phone number or extension on the ad. While this may be some extra bother, you will KNOW without a doubt which ad venue is giving you the best value for your advertising dollar - and it's worth the trouble to now know.

Advertisers who have done this often report their MRH ad is performing well for them as compared to the other places they've tried advertising. With our very affordable ad rates and our near 50,000 and growing monthly audience, just ask Les about putting MRH to the test!

Click effectiveness

We find ad clicks drop off if you don't keep your ad fresh. You can resuse the same ad message to drive home your branding, but ideally the look of your ad should change with each issue. Our creative services department can help you - just ask Les!

Each time you rerun your ad, clicks drop by about 30%. This means:
1st run: 100% clicks
2nd run: 70% clicks
3rd run: 40% clicks
4th run: 10% clicks

For best results, we recommend you run an ad only once, twice at the most.
