MRH Growth

Here's a graph of our traffic growth since the beginning of MRH. In January, we hit an all-time high of 49,281.

MRH growth chart

FEBRUARY: There were 46,383 unique visitors in February. While this might seem to be down slightly from January, remember that February has 28 days while January has 31.  That means 46,383 x 31/28 = 51,308. Our average daily site traffic rose a bit, from 1589 per day in January to 1656 per day in February, which is a 4% increase. We're expecting the move to monthly will result in continued record growth through 2011. That means more eyes than ever on your ads!

MRH Reader Survey

We just recently conducted a reader survey and we've now received enough responses to have statistically valid results. One question was how much time you spend doing the hobby:

MRH Survey results - how much time do you spend doing the hobby?

As you can see, 49% of our readers spend 5 hours or more per week doing the hobby. We also asked if they're building a layout:

MRH Survey results - how much time do you spend doing the hobby?

Some 60% of our readers claim they're somewhere in the process of actual layout or module construction. In other words, they're not spending all their time on the internet, they're doing the hobby. Layout builders need lots of hobby products!
