EPT's O Scale blog - Passenger Depot Platform

On my station module I'm having a passenger depot with a platform. The platform is a low platform with its top of the deck at the same height as the top of the rails. The deck will be gravel with stained wood to surround the platform.

O'Norway Midwest Tour

It is around nine hours left until I will be picked up for the trip to the airport, where we will catch the plane to O'Hare. I'm finished packing and can't wait to get aboard that plane.

New Year, New Opportunities

It's a new year with new opportunities.

Tonight I put up  a couple of the sections for my station. They haven't been up since I was in Bergen in the beginning of october.

Progression on my O-scale station.

It's Easter and in Norway that means schoolbreak. Is a good time for relaxing, this week the construction have stopped on the station since I have travelled down south to visit my parents and brothers.

Since my last post the last of the center modules have been put together and track has been laid. Handlaying the tracks and turnouts using simple tools and three Fast Tracks jigs I can't come without. Handlaying has become so much easier. I'm glad dad told me about Fast Tracks before I started.

Final Design

It already december and finals has started for myself. So for the time being construction is down on my modules. I'm also moving to a new apartment, where I will have a bigger space.

What I have managed to do is to finish the final design of the modules.

Introduction

Hey,

First of all i will thank Joe and Jeff for exellent reading from the NMRA convention.

I am Eivind, comes from Norway and I am 22 years old. I started with model railroad as a young kid do to my fathers(KnuT) interests in the Hobby. The interests dropped a little when I was in junior high, but when I started high school I got more interested. Today I am modelling in O-scale and HO-scale. Because of lack of space just modules.
