Oh, this is scary!!!

I realize (and my wife says it's OK) that because I have the flu and supposed to be quiet, not exert myself, or go outside in the cold (it's in the 50's, up from 38° last night, here in So.Cal.),

that I have been on the MRH site for four hours, plus.

But,   Model Railroading is fun.

It's time for lunch.

Initial Thoughts

This is a bit overwhelming, putting in actual words my ruminations about how to, and what to, build in a model railroad.   So, I'll start by rambling.  I'll figure out what I'm doing later.

When I first started as a kid, I just laid a oval of track on the available plywood, added some sidings and spurs, and some green paint for grass and grey for roads, and ran it.  I had to run it fast, or not at all:  I had a Varney rubber band drive F-unit!
