O.K. Is it just me? I know that I can also get free web stuff besides MRH and often do; however, when ever I can I want to financially support Joe & crew simply because I believe in him and I'm thankful for the passion he brings to the hobby. Nuff said!

Sheesh you guys make us blush ...
We appreciate the vote of confidence, and we're pleased the MRH brand has developed this kind of loyalty among some of you. It does mean we need to make very sure TMTV stays true to the the MRH brand that you have come to trust.
That is both a real honor and a sobering responsibility.

Free - paid for by ads - you need to put up with lots of ads, and if you're willing to do that, then it's free
Not free - paid for by reasonable fees since there's no ads.
TrainMasters-TV is the latter - no ads (other than the occasional low-key house ad for MRH). All that high quality content needs to be funded somehow, so we charge a reasonable monthly subscription fee (~$5), with additional subscription options offering deeper discounts.
eBooks are also the paid model, since they will have no ads. But since we're talking eBooks, you will always pay a lot less from us for our digital editions. The competition tends to charge the same price for digital or paper - you'll never see us doing that.
The competition offers discount packages that include subscribing to their magazine and getting their video channel for less cost. Our goal is to always make the total cost (magazine subscription + other goodies) to be less. With a free magazine from us in the mix, it's pretty easy to always be the cheapest option when you look at the whole package.

I'm eagerly awaiting more Mike Confalone, Allagash series videos. I've watched and rewatched the two earlier releases and pick up on new details/information every time I watch. It's amazing how much more I can learn via video and a step-by-step explanation than I can with just an article and a few static pictures. I consider the Allagash series the single most valuable model railroading resource I own and as such has certainly expanded my modeling confidence, knowledge and skill. I look forward to more educational videos a la the TrainMasters TV format. I'm grateful that we'll still have the option to purchase individual videos for personal recording to blu-ray or dvd media for offline viewing, as this is how I do it mostly. As I would watching a Netflix movie/show, I prefer laying in bed or sitting on the living room couch to watch videos than sitting at a utilitarian computer desk or squinting at small tablet or smart phone screens. I've no problem paying for a quality product as I'm sure this will be, look forward to it! You guys are really taking this hobby into the 21st century, thanks Joe!
Is the new TrainMaster TV only going to cover HO related material? I will be modeling in S gauge but still read the MRH magazine to get ideas that I might be able to adapt to S. I love the magazine and look forward to the TMTV.

Free and not free
Just a reminder that we have two business models:
Free - paid for by ads - you need to put up with lots of ads, and if you're willing to do that, then it's free
Not free - paid for by reasonable fees since there's no ads.
