We're getting a lot of positive comments about TrainMasters at the Atlanta show. Even David Popp from MR Video Plus told me ... "The sandwich promo is a hoot!"

I'm in and am looking forward to it. Will the sign-up page be on the regular web site or in the weekly updates or both? I will go for the $44.00 early annual sign up.
Looks like we're getting some more video content being added to the TrainMasters library - Miles Hale (Modeling with the Masters) has some video he's interested in putting on TrainMasters. Besides the new content we're producing, we'll keep looking for other video content to add to the library like this to make your TrainMasters sub as helpful as possible.

But my hobby dollar is very tight right now so I most likely will have to wait and do it after my MR video plus runs out and do Trainmaster instead of re upping MR Video Plus. I'm not seeing anything that indicates to me that I'm going to want to keep MR Video Plus past my initial subscription.
Interesting compliment coming from David Popp! I do like David a lot on MR Video Plus but the content is just too basic.
Any chance of getting some stuff with M.C. Fujiwara on Trainmaster? I'd like that a lot and I think a lot of others would too.

TrainMasters TV will be its own site, but there will be plenty of links to TrainMasters from the MRH site (and vice versa).
TrainMasters will be using a cloud delivery structure that replicates content around the globe so playback is as consistent as possible regardless of where you are located. We're also planning an "elastic" infrastructure that can grow as needed based on demand.
TrainMasters will be getting new content every week once we launch, and each weekly email from MRH will include a preview of what's new on TrainMasters that week.
TrainMasters also will have its own forum section here on MRH and it will also have its own Facebook page so you can follow developments as we build toward the launch later this fall.

We had an opportunity to see the Trainmasters folks in action at the NMRA as they interviewed me for McCook's Landing. The videographer (I'm not sure if I am allowed to mention his name) showed us the capabilities of his camera and it is very impressive. These will not be simple iPhone videos. The other nice thing is that the film crew were actual model railroaders with years of model railroad experience. They know what to ask and what to focus on, both literally and figuratively. They were also super nice guys.
This has the all the right ingredients to be a winner.
That would certainly be the magic ingredient ... :)
And, while I don't really see myself as subscribing for unknown content (as I mentioned earlier, I am not really a video / TV viewer); I would very much be interested in Bernie Kempinski's models (and a few others as well), so could see myself 'subscribing' at various times to gain access to those specific episodes that I would be interested in.
The TrainMasters principle is Barry Silverthorn who has a background in professional TV production. Barry not only knows his stuff as to producing high-quality video content for the TV networks and PBS, he's a very knowledgeable model railroader and has been the owner of a hobby shop, among other things.
We also have others who will be joining with us to host various segments, many of whom are "names" in the hobby. Everyone we talk to is very excited about TrainMasters, and we intend to have the MRH stamp all over it as to quality and focus on doing the hobby well, especially for intermediate to advanced modelers.
