MRH Website general discussion

What is and isn't fair use when posting copyrighted content
A trackplan from a copyrighted Kalmbach publication was posted on another thread and it set off a detailed discussion of what is and is not fair use when posting copyrighted content.
Here is the original thread:

In general, when it's a drawing such as a track plan, posting the plan in its entirety is not fair use and you must get permission. For more details, see the discussion that follows below.

No space for a layout!!! No problem!!!
The sky is the limit of what can be done if you don't have space for a layout, or in my case if your limited layout space is already full. Just start or keep going and fill up a bookshelf,
Sealing Cardstock
I recently picked up a an old Bekins Storage building kit, that I'm going to build as a large background flat. This is an cardstock type kit and I was wondering what it should be sealed with. Is paint on both sides of the cardstock good enough, or is there a specific product? Did a quick search of the MRH website, and the couple of articles I scanned didn't mention sealing, or I missed it...lol.
Quoting from a post
If I want to quote a message in a reply how do I do it?

Site was down for maintenance, but it's back now!
Sorry folks, our hosting providers moved our site to all new servers and so we ended up down for unplanned maintenance due to some bumps.
But we're back now!

Apple Data Leak
..just fyi... I know very little about this stuff. However, I received a message on my iphone that my password has appeared in a "data leak for this website." ...
Tsunami2 with Current Keeper Sound Reduction
I have a Bachmann On30 Porter with a Tsunami2 decoder and Current Keeper installed. When powered by the Current Keeper the sound volume is significantly reduced (by about half). It runs the motor just fine for several seconds. This isn't a big problem as, ideally, power dropouts should be very brief. I am just curious to know if there is some fix in the decoder programming? My Google-fu and the search box yielded nothing. Thanks, David Stewart
List Of AGR Videos?
IS there a master list that gives the names of the MRH-produced Allagash RR "how to" videos and the subject(s) being discussed?
I am quite impressed with Mike Confalone's work, and I would like to see some of his techniques explained and illustrated.
Thanks for any input.

Status update on the new MRH forum migration
Just checked in with the developers who are building the program to move this forum to the new site forum.mrhmag.com and they tell me they're about ready to port the file I sent them back in October and then open it up for testing.
They're projecting sometime in early February for this to be done. Once it's ready then you will be welcome to go over there and try it out. Part of the port includes moving all the registered members, so anyone who has been here since October 2020 should have a login over there!
We will keep you posted.
Bi-color LED Marker Lights
So I've added a Lok sound 5 to an Atlas H-16-44. This loco originally came with it's own DC/DCC decoder and was supplied with directional LED marker lights (4) that were RED/Green. Each of them has 3 wires: Black Red and White
On the loksound decoder, the only way I am able to get them to light is by:
Black to Aux 1, Red or White to Common to give Red or Green respectively
