Mantua "Heavy" Hopper Question
Do you any of you know if the plastic coal load is removable, and IF it is, are the interior slope sheets unfettered of additional weights?
Thanks for any input.

Gang,
I am simply looking for opinions.
You guys remember my buddy I am trying to help become a modeler, right?
old AccuRail boxes
Not of earth-shattering importance, but I've gotten some AccuRail cars on EBay and they have come in their presumably original boxes—and those boxes are yellow. Every Accurail box I've bought in the past ten years or so has been new or essentially new, and they come in white boxes. How old are the yellow ones? It's a matter of curiosity rather than anything else.
locomotive parts
I am looking for parts for the Athearn/Roundhouse Old Time 2-8-0 or 4-4-0. Are parts available anywhere? So far, I am striking out.
I am also looking to pick up a used Athearn/Roundhouse Old Time 2-8-0, preferrably with DCC/sound. If anyone has one and is willing to part with it please let me know.
Thanks,
Jim Six
Tender Truck
Wonder if anyone can identify this truck that's for the long-haul tender of a Mantua 2-8-0 kit I'm assembling?
Comparing it with a photo of a Commonwealth 6-wheel, swing motion, straight equalizer truck (see below), I think it's probably a variation of that. The only difference seems to be the shape of the parts next to the pencil points. What think?

Atlas HO GP7: Can it handle 15" Radius Curves?
Will the Atlas HO GP7 negotiate a 15" radius curve without trouble? I realize the coupler overhang might be a problem, but will it make it through the curve?
What would it look like ? Track cleaning train
So,
I have finally completed a goal of obtaining several different track cleaning cars. I have the following:
1) CMX Clean Machine
2) Ribbonrail track cleaner (works similar to CMX)
3) Two Centerline roller type cars
4) Walthers abrasive pad car'
5) Some kind of car with a large Neodymium magnet to pick up any kind of metal shavings, coupler springs, etc.
6) the thought crossed my mind to get some kind of mini vacuum to suck up any non-magnetic debris.

Stewart/Bowser Baldwin Switcher Question?
Hi All:
Do any of you know if the older Stewart Baldwin switcher shells (DS-4-4-1000 and S-12) will fit the new Bowser frame for same?
Reason:
I have a great sounding/performing Bowser Executive CGW DS-4-4-1000 w/LokSound in it that I love. But seeing as I scuttled my "KC Lines" idea some time ago (upon which it was to be used), I now have no use for it.
