Track and electrical/DCC

Main to Turntable Track
I just received a copy of the original blueprint for the AC&Y Brittain yard compliments of the AC&Y Historical Society. What a magnificent display piece this will make framed in the train room.
Interestingly enough, I noticed something on it that contradicts information I had been given earlier. It concerns trackage leading from the main to the turntable. Brittain did in fact have a switch from the main that leads directly to the turntable. And it isn't very long, less than 500 feet. It is labeled "Outbound west turntable".

My layout update and Tam Valley servos
Here is an update of my Massawippi Valley RR HO scale construction; the front panel now host the Tam Valley servos and controls, they do such a fine job and are so simple to install and use, I recommend it!
Video Shows m.p. 0, at Lennoxville and we pass through Ayer's Cliff where the Ciment Quebec is, then on to Ayer's junction. There is so much to do....!!!!

Detection Circuits Revisited (Signaling in the future)
I have a question about detection. I have used BD-20s with AIU from NCE and it works really well. As I look at how much detection will be going on (mainline, staging, and turnout position) it is going to get extremely pricey.
Under Table Manual Turnout Controls
Yes, on the MR Magazine indexes!
They had an good article on how to build a push/pull manual turnout control that was spring loaded and had a spdt switch to change polarity in the frog. Can't find it anywhere.
Can anyone help?
DCC short management Buzzer
I am using a 1156 tailight bulb for short management with good results, but on several occasions I,ve had my back turned and not noticed the bulb lit up. My question, is it possible to have an audible device hooked up inconjuction with the tail light bulb, and if possible, how would it be connected. Thanks
parallel tracks and atlas turnouts
I want to create a passing siding (parallel track needed) with flex track and atlas #6 customline turnouts but I don´t know the geometry of these turnouts.
How to return the diverging routes to parallel?

DC and DCC
I'm going to be re-wiring my layout and converting my Atlas selector based control panel to something better. I was advised by a few to just go to DCC. With NCE Powercab at $150 and the Zepher for a few dollars more ($225 or less) it is a little more tempting.
What type of latex caulk should be used to fasten down the track?
I used liquid nails for projects the last time, but I really did not like it very much. I liked the work time, and the being a able to adjust as I went. But some of the track came up, so iw ant to try something else. I ahve Mr. Fugates video, but I dont feel like searching throught it.
just wanted some opinions.

DC wiring question
Sorry if this seems obvious to those already in the know, but I'm new at this. I'm building a 4' X 8' layout with DC wiring using common rail. Does anyone have suggestions as to what I can use to connect the common rail wires from my blocks all together? I'd like to try to avoid having to do a lot of soldering together (I have 12 blocks on the layout) so if anyone knows of some apparatus/device that lets me connect all the common rail wires together using screws or whatever I would appreciate it. Thanks all in advance for your ideas.
European trains with American DCC
I'm getting back into the hobby after a long time away. I started in Germany so my trains are all European. I'm planning Swiss themed layout and plan on sticking with Minitrix, Fleischmann, etc. Can I use an Amercan digital control system with loks I buy from them? What about digital control of European turnouts and lights? Any good reading about the subject?
Thanks
