Wolfson's stuff is great. I've visited his site more than once myself, especially to check out the subway scenes.
One of my favorite urban diorama pieces is Peter Feigenbaum's "Trainset Ghetto." http://www.peterfeigenbaum.com/gallery/index.php?album=model-rr He created a take on South Bronx neighborhoods intended more as art than model railroad. He's not really a model railroader based on his comments on the project, but the work does include trains, mostly representing transit running through the area.
Talent
Bordering on unbelievable!
