I recently purchased the Ten

I recently purchased the Ten Mile Creek downloads and I highly recommend  them. I am looking forward to more videos becoming available for download, any plans to do this Mr. Fugate?

Seems to be a lot of interest in those ...

Seems to be a lot of interest in the OPs videos as downloadable. Will have to get going on converting those, looks like.

It doesn't make sense to offer them as stand-alone chapters like the how-to videos, so my inclination is to make the entire download set for one ops video something like $4.99. Would that work?

Ops Video Enhancement

Joe, I have the OPS videos on DVD that you have produced. I would also be interested in more. May I make a few suggestions that would make the videos more valuable to newcomers like myself?

1. Long sequences of operators filling out paperwork and talking to the dispatcher are really only needed once early in the video. A short excerpt of the communication there after. Show me the complete sequence once and then you only need show me when it occurs there after.

2. More complete narration that explains the whys of operation. "Jeff takes a cut to the ABC siding. He sorted the cars in the order A-D-B-C to make switching efficient. Notice how Jeff spots car C first. That's because...". I guess I am asking for more of an instructional approach versus being an audience to the op session.

3. Expanding on suggestion 2, train movement graphics that illustrate what is happening on the layout would help. Often I could not see exactly what I needed to see in the video because of something in the way. I am thinking XTrack type train movement.

4. Follow a particular train through its complete journey including all the set outs and pick ups, again with narration to explain why it is doing what it is doing. You are already very close to this one on the current editions.

Your videos are great. A deal at 5 bucks. Give me a comprehensive OPs education and they would be worth much more.
