Oh well...
I've never heard of them.

We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.
Does anyone know why?
Is this because the owners want to retire or a down turn in business? When I was shopping around many years ago for custom decals, Rail Graphics Decals and Donald Manlick Decals were the two big names in the business. Since I've gotten away from proto-freelancing I've not kept up with who offers custom decals. Sad to see another decal company going the way of Champ decals.
Cheers,
Rich S.
Not as big a deal as it might have been ...
Rail Graphics closing is not as big a deal as it might have been in times past. These days with the ability to buy decal paper and print your own decals, Rail Graphics services (custom printed decals) isn't as indispensable as it used to be.
MRH forum regular Bill Brillinger of Precision Design Co will do custom decals for you, so it's not like there's nobody out there to take up the slack if you prefer to have your custom decals made for you.

Get your art!
If you've had decals made by Rail Graphics in the past, consider asking them for a copy of your artwork. Several of my clients have had success getting a copy of their art as a PDF, which will make reprints later a lot easier.

Not as big a deal as it might have been...
@ Joe Fugate, I realize there are many others who can create custom decals. I've recently worked with Shawmut Car Shops to create P&WV caboose decals. I've also worked with Great Decals to create P&WV hopper decals and I've used their P&WV FM decals for my H16-44. For me it's just sad to see another known name in the hobby closing their doors. It's not that we are left high and dry, it's more sentimental reasons, but as they say time marches on.
Cheers,
Rich S.

Actually I mixed up the two
Actually I mixed up the two places. I believe I might have been looking at Rail Graphics to make my custom decals at one time. Thanks for the link, still sorry to see them go.
