Ghost River Railway
Things have been pretty busy around the layout since I got back home. I've completed my staging yard at the start of the layout and also the staging yard on the upper shelf. I've gotten the casting bug lately and have made a lot of molds and castings. Now I just have to get them installed.
I've also completed my turnout control panel which took a couple of days to wire and install. Not all of my turnouts are powered, only the ones that can't be reached easily. The rest have Caboose ground thows. Still a few of them to install once they arrive this week.
A couple dozen logging and ore cars have also been assembled, painted and installed on the layout. Decaling and weathering will happen as the mood dictates. Still a couple dozen more of these to purchase and build, but that will happen as circumstances and the CEO allow.
Work on reassembling my three truck Heisler and an MDC Shay has been deferred while I get this layout maintenance/construction completed. Everything is ready to be put together, it's just a matter of getting around to reassembly. Two new SW9/1200 engines have also joined the roster. A CP and CN SW9 have had decoders installed and are working their powerful little hearts out. A Trainmaster and a Baldwin DS 4-4-1000 have had detail installed and are just waiting for decoders which should be here this week. With the exception of the SW9's all diesels still need to be painted in CP maroon and gray, but that will happen when time allows.
Overall things are progressing well and working as they should.

Geared,
Great update on what you have been doing! The only thing missing is the eye candy, we love pictures too!
Thanks for sharing.
Eye Candy
Photos will come, Kevin. Just a lot of things on my plate right now. I haven't even uploaded the photos and video to my computer from my trip to see the kidlets yet.
