Happy Birthday Joe

I told my wife years ago, only place three candles on the cake. One of the Past, One for the Present and One for the Future. Yes I got tired of all of my candles setting off the smoke detectors laugh surprise

Have a Happy Birthday Joe.

Cheers,

Thanks everyone!

Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes!

I'm having a ball these days doing MRH full time. The post-Floquil painting guide is a lot of fun and it's coming together nicely with a lot of help from Testors and Vallejo, not to mention Badger's great ModelFlex paint.

Then there's the Make it run like a Dream series volume 1: TRACKWORK that's nearing completion. Sneak peek #5 will be out soon (book is 60% complete now), and I'm having a total blast doing this series. As I do research for the material to add to my own experiences, there's just not much out there on the topic of designing and building layout trackwork right, much less getting all the expert how-to tips all in one place.

I'm excited to see this first volume of the Run like a Dream series coming together - I'm going to refer to it as much as anybody because it's finally all going to be in one place! And as I had hoped, the first volume covers all scales and eras pretty well, I think, and sets a good foundation for the entire series to likewise cover all scales and eras, not just HO and my 1980s diesel era.

So I'm having a blast - my health is good and I'm gratified at how far MRH has come in seven years. We've got a lot of great fun things planned for you, so I'm really looking forward to how things unfold in the next year or two!
