HTML5 compliant browsers like Chrome or Firefox will automatically save the PDF to your device when you click the link.

That's some sharp eyes there! It's been misspelled since the web downloader debuted in February, so I went back and fixed them all.
The text on the link was goofy but the issue behind the link was correct - that's good at least!

iPad does not allow PDF. All other attempts failed
How to read MRH on an iPad
Reading MRH in PDF form on an iPad works just fine, I do it all the time. You just need to know a couple tricks, namely a Tap-and-hold on the link, and using The GoodReader app to read the magazine ($5). I will post the detailed steps with screenshots shortly for iOS8.
You can also read MRH inside iBooks but it's not as nice a PDF reader as GoodReader. Here's a few issues of MRH in iBooks on my iPad in a category I call PDFs ...
