Didn't download to my directory. Where did it go?
How to download ...
You didn't say what kind of device this is, so we can't really help you well without knowing that.
Assuming this is a Windows PC, please see this information on how to do a download and find where it went:

downloads
None of the four options will download onto my PC (Vista OS using Chrome browser) for the second month in a row! Seems you boys are too clever by half. I've been a registered subscriber since the first month you went live, and never had an issue copying the issue of the E-Zine until last month. It doesn't seem that PC users ought to have "jump through hoops" to download the issues. I'm not happy to have to use a "work-around".
Never mind. I finally found
Never mind. After posting that I too was unable to get the downloads to work, I finally found the flash enable download button and got it that way. Why can't that option be on the main download page? Why can't it say something like "This is the old way to download that actually works"? I would have found it much sooner.
downloads redux
I just accessed the download and voila!...it works. I don't know if it from a "fix" on your end or not, if so, thank you.
In Chrome ...
In Chrome on a PC, right click (hover over the link and press the right hand mouse button instead of the left mouse button) and select "Save link as ..."
A dialog box will pop up asking where you want to save the file to. Navigate on your computer to the location where you want the magazine download to be saved. Chrome will put the download in the bottom status bar and do a clock-like round download progress graphic as the file comes down.
Once the download is done, right click on the file in the bottom status bar and select "Show in folder" to have the place you saved it to pop right up in a window.
We've never had any problems downloading MRH in Chrome using the right-click save link as method.

Downloads?
I know that if something is free You should not complain about it.
My question is why is it that every couple months when you change things it changes how it downloads. You expect to see a normal thing the little blue box comes up and it says it`s downloading. Not this time.
You see when I download from your site It`s the end result that I look for, what icon is it going to use in my documents file. Thru the years it`s been different. It makes it easier to find your magazines in my files. What will it be this month.
I do not need a reply. Thanks
Chrome Downloads
I would recommend setting Chrome to always ASK where you want to save a downloaded file.
Open Chrome's settings ( open a new tab and paste: chrome://settings/ )
Scroll down until you see "Show Advanced Settings". Click it
Scroll down until you see "Downloads"
Select "Ask where to save each file......"
Now instead of putting it in a default location you constantly forget about a pop-up will display asking you where you want to save the file. I like putting my MRH files in a separate folder with just them in it on my Google drive so it is easy to get to anywhere I am on whatever device I am using

Download
Well I downloaded the magazine when it first came out the march 2015 issue of course. But I never looked at it cause I just read it right away and forgot the download till today. So I went looking for it to see if I had ity. Nope! The only thing there was the label mrh whatever that goes with it. Just a blank.
Now today all I get is a gray blank page and the icon going around, around, around nothing.
As I stated before if it`s free you shouldn`t complain. Now my question is why did you change?
When you first started you had an excellent server a occasional glitch once in awhile.
Even emailing you is crazy it`s leaving spaces between lines. Sorry, one more thing there are too many types of downloads imbeded , standard, with no explanations on witch one to use we are all not computer geniuses.
Explanation
Here's an explanation ... I will email this to you as well so you make sure and get it.
Why did we change?
Because we had to change - mobile devices like tablets and smartphones are increasing and our old Flash downloader doesn't work at all on those devices. Roughly a third of our readers now read us on mobile devices, and that number is increasing every month. The internet keeps changing and we have to keep up, like it or not.
Which version to get?
We have two PDF versions you can download: Standard and Embedded, and two format - Landscape and Portrait. That's it. We have two different servers you can download from - our primary and our mirror (backup). Here's an explanation of each one:
Standard: PDF with all media on the internet. You need an active internet connection to view any media. The Standard edition file size is a lot smaller because it doesn't contain any media inside the PDF.
Embedded: PDF with all the media embedded inside the PDF so you can download and view all media with no need for an internet connection once you've downloaded it. The Embedded edition is a lot larger because it includes the media embedded inside the PDF.
If you're not sure, just stick with the Standard Edition - it's a much smaller download and it works on more devices than the Embedded edition does.
Which format to get?
We have two page formats, Landscape and Portrait. With Landscape, the two page spread is wider than it is tall and fits well on most computer screens and 10" tablets. On the Portrait format, the single page is taller than it is wide and it fits better on most mini-tablets and smartphones.
If you have a desktop or laptop computer, or a 10" tablet, then get the Landscape format.
If you have a mini-tablet or a smartphone, then get the Portrait format.
Which server - Primary or mirror?
Use the primary server unless the download fails, then try the mirror (backup server) to see if it works any better because it uses a completely different internet connection - one may work better than the other for you.
That's about it
That's pretty much it - no big mystery. By the way, it also helps when reporting problems to us if you tell us what device type you're trying to use because they all work quite differently. Also, remember to try our troubleshooting tips link on each download page:
