scale speed

I learned a long time ago that 60 mph is = to 88 ft/sec.

Based on that if it takes 1 second for two, 40 ft. cars to pass a point on the layout the train speed will be about 60 mph in any scale.

Oops ...

Well, I knew it was bound to happen one of these days ...

We ran the same tip TWICE - in both the Sep and Oct issue's QAT. It's the gum containers as foam shakers tip - must have been a really good tip!

What I can't believe is that Mr. Ed (Charlie), the Publisher (Joe F.), two copy editors, and at least two staff member reviewers ALL missed this duplication.

Well, tell you what. Those pages are free-to-the-readers the second time (wink and rolling eyes).
