Mirror effect Diorama
Hello Friends
Many People on the Forum asked about the Mirror effect Diorama and here are some how to Pictures. To bad I don't have the whole progress in pictures available.
The Diorama was made by my Friend Stefan Foerg of Germany because I wanted a mirror effect like rain puddles or something similar for my H0 Collection Pictures. I wanted also the possibility to the change the background.
Here are the pictures, the whole setup is build on a piece of glas, not a mirror.
Hermosa - Do the Hills have eyes?
The hills for the background have been painted on the walls in Hermosa are done. A little clean up on the lower wall with some California Sky Blue and then the bench work wil got in for the 2' x 8.75' town of Hermosa.

Laser guided, computer controlled model railroad
This is the start of my new railroad journey in Australia
First some history from my previous layout in South Africa
Having had a nice 10m x 10m room and living in the same house for 20 years helped get a rather large first layout almost complete.
First will be about 20 photos from the "old layout" without much description

Facebook Live. Sharing some Splitrock Mining operations with the cyber world.
After watching a couple of Facebook live feed's by MRH contributor emillerz about his wonderful SPSF layout I wanted to try it myself. I cleaned up the layout, set up my Ipad on a tripod, aimed it at the yard and pushed the start button. I then went about the normal task of switching and sorting loaded iron ore cars for movement to the dock to be unloaded. Plus bringing back the empties and getting them ready to head back to the mines. In a matter of minutes when I looked at the feed, I had quite a few viewers.
