The Colorado & Northwestern Railroad/Denver Boulder & Western RR – Design Considerations

Ever since I saw the Fast Tracks display at the Amherst train show, I was hooked, I've managed to acquire a couple of jigs, pointforms, and other tools from Fast Tracks direct as well as eBay, and last night I finally had the time and tools gathered to get to work.

Several readers have asked us to update our banner ads now that issue 2 has been released - so we're pleased to report that we've updated the banners!

Still a lot of work to be done yet, as I need to do some fine work on the silver on the bottom, and line it up properly with the stripe, I still need to add details like handrails, MU hoses and the like, also need to finish up the lighting system by adding a switch and battery holder, so far this unit now has window glazing, a Genesis interior with an engine crew, windshield wipers, and American Limited diaphram and close coupling kit installed.

I found an old Lionel train in the basement of my Grandma's when I was just a little bear, and fell in love. It was just a circle on the floor, but down the road the real trains roared past. I'd have my aunt take me down to see the big guys.

My success scratch building a 25-ton gave me the idea for a better Grandt Line 25-ton:
