Winter hit the Inverlael Distillery
Last night the area at Inverlael was hit by a small snow storm. And so today
the crew of the Ivatt had to shunt the snow covered Inverlael distillery.
I wish everyone of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Today I could finish the filming for my A day at the Garve and Ullapool Railway Series.

Platform for Lochdubh finished
During the last few days I finished the platform for Lochdubh and the station forecourt.
Platform construction started at Lochdubh
Today I started with the platform construction at Lochdubh. For these I used some downloads which were part of the Hornby Magazine Operation Built It Series. Which ran in late 2013 and early 2014.
I also dismantled the Your Model Railway Village Mk1 coach.
Lochdubh in 00
A few years ago I started building some modules for an 00 gauge railway,
But then I lost my interest in 00 for some time.
Today I did some work on my 00 Lochdubh modules.
During my last operating session, a Heljan Class 26 changed
ownership from my friend Matthias to me. These started a little boost to
work on Lochdubh. To get to the right width for FREMO 00 modules
I expanded the modules by 10 cm. And I also built a new modules,
on these the line continues and I will place a distillery on it.

A day at the Garve and Ullapool Railway part 1
In the next few weeks I will post a small series of films on Youtube.
In these films you can do some trainspotting at the Garve and Ullapool Railway on a autum day in the early 1960s.
For the films I used my timetable, that I made for the last operating session.
Enjoy the film.

Despite the usual suspects, some friends and an Rmweb member that lives near Frankfurt joined the operating session.
As usual we started with an english breakfast
Gorre & Daphetid Railroad Sorethroat branchline
Hello,
it's been quite a while since my last post. I continued on my Garve and Ullapool Railway and rebuilt my Leckmelm modules. I also laid the track at Inverlael station and build a small fiddle yard for the branchline that leaves the main line at Inverlael.
But in early spring I constructed a second level above my Garve and Ullapool Railway. There I will built a H0 american layout. loosely based on John Allens Gorre & Daphetid.
Work on my layout addition
Today I continued with my layout addition.
Here the result.
Benchwork for future addition
Today I started with the construction of the benchwork for my future layout addition..
I'm planning to built a waystation where a branchline will connect to the Garve and Ullapool Railway
The benchwork is made from Ikea Ivar Shelves.
The progress.
