Updates to my website

Two new items:

I have updated the full feature MS Access database to generate car cards and waybills, the previous one had issues printing color stripes on the waybills:

I have started a glossary, I will add some images and plan to expand the content on a regular basis:

That’s cool

I struggled to build a database driven web app to generate switch lists for a couple years. I never could get it running how I wanted it to, so I just makeup switch lists on a spreadsheet.

congrats on getting something up and running for your pike.

Updates

Thanks, I have been using  MS Access databases to drive CC&WB systems for over 20 years.  The published version is the 14th edition of the 7th database.  Doesn't count all the one off's I've made or the that I have made 3 versions of the "car ticket" 1900's era database I use on my own layout.

On a side note, I was able to figure out an index for the glossary, and added a link to bring you back to the indiex, making it much easier to use.

I have started a couple times to sketch out a switchlist version of my database, but since that would be a LOT of work and I am 99% sure I would never use it on my layout, I never have actually pursued it.
