Firefox compatibility issue...

Would it still be possible to have the old flash downloader again? Firefoxn 23 does not give an option to save the file when you right click

Strange

Strange I had no problem with right-clicking  and using Save Link as ... in Firefox 23.0.1.

Flash downloader

@Bremner - I believe the flash downloader will be available for the final release of this issue. This download is the pre-release version. I am running Firefox V22 and had the same experience as Ken K above - it downloaded fine with Right Click/Save As.

Firefox issue for downloads fix

Usually PDF documents open automatically.  I have noticed that the download file option is not always there.

Here is a better way.  Go to www.speedbit.com and download the free download accelerator plus. Don't worry about the premium version, the basic version is all you will need.

Install and 2 things will happen.  One is that you can download at 4x the speed as normal. The other is when you right click, it will show 'download with DAP' and you can download the file easily with no problem.

Another good thing is if you go to a site with a few downloads, instead of clicking one at a time, you can right click and go to 'download all with DAP' and it will download all the files available.

Hmmm.... it ALSO will set Speedbit to your homepage, and your preferred search engine unless you uncheck that option... in little tiny print in several places.

And it doesn't mention PDFs at all on that page.

No thank you.
