Laser cut Building Tempaltes

I have gained access to a super high res laser printer but am on the lookout for some resources so that I can quickly design up some buildings.

I am looking at some brick style factories from around 1930s-1950s as I have about 3.5m (12 foot)  of industrial background building to construct. There is a yard and the depth is not to flat and squished up.

If any has ideas on where i can get some HO scale template files to use that would be great.

Background Buildings / Landscape files

I am looking for a bunch of buildings I can print out cut and make a 3d looking background flat buildings from.

The buildings are to be used behind the roundhouse area on the layout to break the scene as there is a track going up to the coal mine that is far off to the right.

Also, have around 35feet of a flat concrete wall I am looking to stick a background to. These are for my model railway club and one of the members can get the background printed by a sign maker.

I am after something that I repeat and is also fairly cheap/free to use.

Who does a craftsman style rounshouse in HO

I am after around 6 stalls for my round house. I am adter ideas on what is out there that is great.

It is for mainline steam locos, a mix of atsf, great northearn, southern pacific and Union pacific at our model club, and as this is one of the first areas you see when entering the club, so it needs to be a great focal point.

Suggestions and links and ideas please.

Which buildings for a steam and diesel facility

I have acquired a 134ft turntable from diamond scale http://www.diamond-scale.com/images/TS134.jpg that is based on the UP turntable form what I can gather. I am after Ideas on whom does a great 6 or so roundhouse, a cinder conveyor and the other buildings that would go nicely within the area.

As our model club is freelance and the guys interested in the turntable area model Santa Fe, UP, Great Northern and Southern Pacific.

DCC++ and jmri programing issues

I have a dcc++ system set up on my test track separate from my layout.

The problem is every dcc loco factoey installed and custom. With and without sound. When I try to read in the chip to program the locos it gives me read errors.

Are there some other settings in the dcc++ software I need to change.

My power source is a stable 14v with plenty of current available.

RFID chip tag in wagons for switching

Has any thought of putting an RFID chip inside a wagon for switching?

Was thinking of this as you can get like 30 little stick on ones for around $8

Most phones will read RFIDs for shunting.

HO bridge ideas and where to start

HO SCALE question about a bridge.

I am looking to build a steel viaduct for our club layout. What i am after is a good base product to kit bash.

I have (real world) 35-40 inches or 1meter across rhe span. The middle goes over a shelloish river.

Have been thinking of microenginering but not sure how good they are, as the bridge is in a veey dominant position.

UV 3D resin printer

I am looking at getting a 3D resien based UV printer. These print down to .25micron and do not leave lines like traditional 3d printers.

Panel Rewire of blocks and points

We have embarked on a rewiring of the entire layout that has 12 separate blocks. It has been in place for over 20+ years at the Western Districts Model Railway Club.

The main reason is we want to declutter the panels so that we could see what we are doing and move closer to DCC control.

Below are two pics of the first part of the rewire. I will get some pics of the layout and the inside
