Track and electrical/DCC
Help a newbie - DCC bus termination?
I have a very basic question about track bus wires for DCC. Where do the bus wires connect?? In almost all the diagrams I've seen on DCC wiring (see pg.

Automatic reverse loop
Hi Everyone,
I am thinking about putting an automatic reverse loop at each end of a point to point layout(which means it is no longer point to point, but anyway..) and have no idea how to go about this. I know they have this for DCC, but I have DC and do not have the finances to switch yet.
Also, how would the turnouts be controlled?
I model in HO scale.
Thanks,
Jim

Turnouts without guard rails
For past few weeks I have been studying prototype yards and to my surprise I have seen many turnouts without guard rails. For example pictures from West Colton yard. How common is this? For model railroads with small turnout #'s I can see them needed.
Online Electronic Supplier - any experiences with them?
This is probably off topic as the supplier in question does not deal in MRR at all, but I was hoping someone might have dealt with them and be willing to offer some feedback.

crossover
Another subscriber of MRH sent me a picture showing a crossover from a main line to a lower siding and I thought it was useful as this situation comes up often in modeling track - How do you make the transition?
is there a DC (not a DCC) Computer control...
is there a DC (not a DCC) Computer control program for my N scale ?

DC/ DCC setup
My layout is wired and running with a traditional DC system. I am thinking that I would like to set the layout up such that I could continue to rum with DC equipment on occasion. But then, I want to install a separate DCC setup and run DCC equipment separately on occasion. Can I just have the two systems wired to the bus wires and switch from one ot the other? What sort of switch should I use? Does it have to be heavy duty since DCC is a stronger current or whatever that concern might be? What other issues are there- if any?

DPDT switch
I would like to use a DPDT switch with On,Off,On capability, with this I would like to wire in some buildings(3) (1) I would like to control a 9-12 Volt LED, for interior lights, and (2) I would like to wire in 1.5 volt lights for exterior lights above the doorways, is this possible?
Unable to identify CVs in MRC 1803 sound decoder
I recently installed an MRC 1803 Sound Decoder in a Proto 2000 Alco PA loco. In the PB unit I installed an NCE D13SRJ decoder. The two units now have trouble running together, I have tried to speed match the units manually but with little success.
