You'll notice site traffic spikes on the report - those spikes came every time I sent out an email blast to our subscribers.

The last email blast for issue 4 broke all previous traffic records by almost double. The previous record was 4300 hits in one day when we released issue 2. With the release of issue 4 and my email blast going out, we got almost 10,000 hits in one day!

I think this new single-day record says a couple things:

1. Model railroaders tend to get back into the hobby in the fall, which explains why the July email blast didn't set any new records, but the October blast did.

2. Word does seem to be getting out that we exist. As to how much penetration we have, who knows. It's certainly less than 50% still - there are more modelers who don't know about us than do.
