Shanty work in progress.
I've done a bit more work on the shanty for my yard. I added the steps, lights, coal bin and some loose bits. It still needs a lot of extra tufts bushes etc added but I only have the one size tufts right now. I will also add some spilt coal around the base of the bin.
So still a bit of ground work to do but It's getting there.

I like it... I keep seeing kits like that, and thinking how it would be cool (since I'm doing a Hollywood set of the Wild West) to take one of my "Old Time" boxcars that I'm not using, and make it into a shanty like that.
If they made a kit with an old time version, I'd totally get it!
Yard office.
It's going to be my yard office. I'm building a small 7x5 foot u shaped layout. One end will be the yard. The other end will be a business district with a 2 track storage yard hidden by factory/warehouse buildings.
