Missouri Pacific Railroad, Willoughby, Arkansas Branch

Continued work on the MOPAC.  Dirt area is home to the future scrap yard.

Looking Good Already!

I like the way you've hidden that track behind the grain elevator. Does it go somewhere or is it just a lead track for switching the elevator?

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback.

The track is part of the main.  It disappears behind the elevators/wooded hill and connects to removable "cassette" staging.

Very nice.  Where in Arkansas is Willoughby supposed to be?

Good Job

Joe -

That's looking good! That first photo posted of the main disappearing behind the elevator has a very good "railroad feel" to it. It looks like you could see that anywhere in the US. Keep up the good work!

Talk to you later,

Joe

Glad to see someone modeling another Missouri Pacific branch line, nice modeling.   I model the Bagnell Branch and have some posts on here and Rene LaVoise models the MP branch from Sedalia to Warsaw, Missouri circa 1929.    I have a Yahoo group on the branch and a web site if you just google Missouri Pacific Bagnell Branch it should pop up.

You using static grass?  It looks like it in your first photo..
