Wharf

Hi Everyone,

I am continuing working on my wharf on my O scale (2 Rail) and my On30 layout and this is the latest, I've added the "finished" warehouse and added some street lights to the wharf.

Below you see a view at night with the lights. The lights are HO scale, brand name: Model Power (No 501)and they come in package of three. They're too big for HO but just right for O scale. Made out of brass and wired. Theyare the cheapest and for the $$$ you can't beat them. the building has flourescent lightbulbs and lamps.

Below is a close up of my Switcher doing some work on the wharf and on the right side you can see the narrow gauge.

Next...my interior. This was a big coincident. The main building is a replica of an old "Jersey" wharehouse. As I was looking for interiors photos of old wharehouse, I found photos of an interior of an old "Jersey" warehouse.

The photo

The photo works great. I think more and more that there is a lot of use for this kind of application of printed pictures, the builidng interior is just another great one.

PS - the rest of it looks smashing as well (although the narrow guage just looks so small!)

Narrow Gauge

Thanks for the compliments, Scarpia. Narrow looks small because it is. That is On30. Not only it is a lot shorter but a lot lower in height.

Here is a comparison between both:
