@aclmark & @ Vince P
@aclmark, thanks for the kind comments. This train has pretty much defined my experience in the hobby. I am hoping to someday create a basement layout empire solely for the purpose of running this train.
@Vince P
Yes, they are still around. Here is the web page. http://www.procustomhobbies.com/catpages/LAH.shtml
Send them an email and they will work with you on develop additional car sides. Very neat stuff!

Updates...
I managed to get three more sides done over the weekend. So, this is the current state of the project.
So, only 5 more sides to go. Next up will be looking for bubbles and reapplying Micro Sol until the decals are sitting properly with no air gaps. That will be my next post.
Now I can also start turning my attention to other details as well. I can install the couplers.
This was an easy process as I saved all the parts in a parts container to keep everything organized. I also decided to use my wife's label maker specify each cars name and number so that I don't end up applying the incorrect name and/or number to the wrong car. (Hope that works!)
To paint my couplers, I use this device. A simple set of close pins glued to a scrap piece of wood. Then I lightly hit the couplers with brown Rustoleum primer to simulate a rusty knuckle.
At some point I will need to paint the faces of the wheel sets. The two wheel masks I have from American Model Builders don't fit the wheel sets in these passenger cars.

Neat tip
For the couplers.
