Pictures

Why do some people's pictures show up as pictures and some as attachments?

Browsers

IE may be the most used but not the best. I have used Firefox for many years and let the PC use IE for updates. Many do that. Not a big issue to download and install FF. I also use Adblock Plus and Flashblocker for Add ons. Keeps a lot of junk off the browser.

posting photos

With Firefox, Using a photo that is less than 800 pixels wide, simply drag it from your photo file folder to the comment writing box you are working in.  Check the preview option and if it looks good, submit it.

My Live Steam Thread

Seems photos were most desired, I tend to blab too much, anyhow. Had a dickens of a time getting my image handler, servimg.com, to work. One of the "buttons" shown in the instructions is ABSENT in the view provided on my PC screen. Thus, I figured out that in order to make the images appear as pictures automatically, instead of links to be clicked on by the viewer, the post (at least using I.E. 7), must be written after clicking on "Source" in my upper left corner. Live steam may not necessarily be all that popular on this particular model forum, but any effort requiring extensive making of parts would seem worthy, to me, of presentation, whether HO, or on up. 5632

...

I have yet to have an issue posting pictures.

And I use IE 11, almost exclusively.
