First if your planning on
First if your planning on selling DVD's on this site you really need to speak to Joe before you advertise anything else here. Other wise you my find your posts deleted, removed, and kicked. You wanting to make money is great but free advertising here is a NO NO! Other than that I've seen some of your E-Bay weathering with makeup and it is different and not a bad Idea. But you really need to fix the Foam monster on the old window and that wilted Tie and solder joint .

No Dan, I'm not advertising,
No Dan, I'm not advertising, don't have anything to sell, yet! just trying to get some feedback, so far, no one has given me much feedback on youtube, so not really surprised..
You have explained so much
You have explained so much about using cheep make-up on you-tube that everybody that has watched your series of videos will already have everything they need to know about it. That's more than likely why your not getting any inquiries on You Tube.
If I were you I'd pull all the weathering videos off You-Tube and after that re-organize them. Next do an article write up for MRH with videos. Include where you get the product which is the best and what the modeler should and shouldn't use. Show step by step what you do and how to do your weathering process.
Then when your all set and think you have a money project submit an outline to Joe and the Editor at MRH with some samples of what your process for weathering includes. Make yourself a small display diorama with a 24 inch wide back drop and a section of track ballasted and maybe a structure flat or 2 behind it or just a clean sky blue section of wood or cardboard a couple feet wide and 18inches high that you can use as a back drop to show off your weathering projects that you have completed. If you have your own website you can put a link to it in the article and then on that web site you can offer your DVD's for sale with the web site showing a couple finished samples of your work.
Check Joes Blog on articles needed and it explains what is required to submit them and if your stuff is accepted it pays pretty good, you won't retire on what he pays but it's a start.
Right now Joe is looking for articles for the next few issues so you could offer to do a series of these articles to be shown in two or three magazine issue over the next 6 months. As I said I have seen your Videos on You-Tube and your processes and Ideas are good & you should get them published.
GOOD LUCK

I agree ...
I agree with Dan.
Send us a detailed outline of your article idea, plus some sample photos and a sample video clip (in wmv or mov format). Read the Contribute section on this web site to see how you can submit your idea to us electronically to our upload site.
If we like what we see, we'll ask you to go ahead and produce the article. When you first present your idea to us in this fashion, your chance of acceptance for the final article is very high (90%). If you just send us an article without first checking with us before you write it, your chance of acceptance is more like 50%.

Thanks Joe and Dan
I will look into that, as weathering really isn't my main interest, I mainly do it to make my models look more like the real thing, which is why anyone would do it, (unfortunately, some don't, and it shows), the idea of using eye makeup isn't a new one, as that is an idea I got from an article in MR or RMC way back in the old daze in like, the 1970's or 80's, so its an idea thats been around for awhile, I also use paint washes, and even use a basic spray paint gun on occasion, and simply bounce weather...
