To All: Today Cups and Signs are featured. Pix#1-Emmett Kelly was a model railroader. Rod Stewart, Gary Coleman, Frank Sinatra and Hermann Goring were/are model railroaders. Can you name other famous persons who were/are model railroaders? Pix#2-The Manton passenger station sign is typical railroad. Manton is on the Great Lakes Central RR (Former GR&I, PRR, MN and TSBY railroads) The MN RR ran a former PRR segment in Northern Michigan. The rail road is now defunct. Pix#3-I painted and lettered the club sign. I was the founder and president of the club. We had 22 members but the club is now disbanded. Pix#4-The Artrain sign is from the 1970's. Artrain toured Michigan, then later other states, promoting art, in many forms. Every year the exhibits were changed. The tour of the passenger cars where the art was displayed was free to the public. Does anyone know if Artrain still runs, and if not, what year did they quit running it?
