Interesting
Can you post a better picture(s) of the interesting switch levers? I assume they are manual throws. What are the linkages? Where did you get them? How hard/easy are they to install?
The car and engine storage shelves continue to hold my interest - need to copy a picture to show the club members as our "under the table" clutter is getting our of hand.

Switch Levers
Dave: The switch stands are by Hump Yard Purveyance. They have a web site with photo and prices, address, etc.
You may copy any of my photos. The only thing I require is that you give me credit for the photo.

Thanks
Will look them up - many thanks. I'm planning on showing the photos only to the building committee at our club to see if they might design something similar for the tons of cars members have.
We often have to "clear the tracks" to get only the trains we want for an operating session. The rest go back in boxes and shoved under the layout. This causes a problem as maintenance is always underway and the boxes end up in the aisles and essentially in the way. We've got tons of wall space around the layout (25 x 70 ft) which are blank - some combination of pictures and shelving would accomplish two things: storage and decorations.
My personal layout is a point-to-point switching scenario that's 30 inches wide and mostly ground throws. The levers would be much better and would allow "decorative" switch stands to be placed (non-lighted) and eliminate the accidental disruption of scenery and buildings.
Again, thanks for the info.
