Issue 2 Download
I had no problem with the main link.
You have to right click, save link as, and the file downloads no problem at all.
available when?
currently 6:50am EST April 12, that would be 3:50am PST, guess i'll try it next month
Issue 2 download
Thanks for that info Russ, I did as you said, and my copy downloaded in 18 minutes, with no problems
Many thanks

RIGHT CLICK and SAVE AS
The file is available and always has been. The Key here is "Right Click and Save As" You do not want to try and open a PDF directly from a website with a file of this size. It can crash your local system if multiple treads are opened. I heard on the Model Railcast Show that Joe disabled this feature on purpose just for that reason.
I guess it would help with the confusion if the links were changed from "Link not available yet" to "Right Click and Save As" when you hover over the links and they are available for download. Then again, they are running a magazine here not a computer course. :)
Cheers and Happy Easter

Download time and Access.
I just downloaded the Premium Edition in one minute and thirty four seconds at 10:20 est, 4-12-09, from Central Florida.
No one has seemed to mention the AMAZING CONTENT and depth of this endeavour! What a content rich, and USEFUL edition to the MRR community. My hat is off to Joe for making this possible. (And I don't even wear a hat...)

Pacific Time
Dear Joe and Co,
I live in the Pacific time zone (GMT -7 or 8, depending on the season), and I have to say, of the three model railroad-oriented publications to which I subscribe, MRH #2 arrived BY FAR the closest to its expected arrival time. (Come to think of it, Ihave always found model railroading to be about patience: I am still waiting for some December, 2008 product releases through my local hobby shop!)
Also, I would like to extend a big THANK YOU to you and your team for providing so much fantastic information at such a reasonable cost to the end user!
I sincerely hope that this endeavor continues to make itself worth your time, and I hope you don't mind if I walk up and say "Hi" if i should ever see you at one of our fine local hobby dealers!
(oh, and it took me 4 minutes to download issue #2)...
Another fine offering
SOOoooo much info I have to back several times just to see it all. Did any one else notice in the back that Live Op's Seesion #4 is coming out next month?
Thanks agian guys!!!!!!!!!

Issue 2 not available
at 5pm cst April 12th I'm told issue 2 will not be available until April 11th ??? Whaaat?
Browser cache
Dan, you're probably experience a flash back by your browser to a cached page (a version of the page the browser hang's onto in your computer to make surfing faster - the problem is that if the page has changed since the last time it was looked at the browser is now giving you a previous version of the page). Does performing a 'reload' from that page change this?
It's also possible that the Web Master may have slipped up and forgotten to change a link message. If this is the case you should be able to right click on the link and choose 'save as' to download the .pdf.
In any event can you please paste the URL of the page with the problem into a response so this problem can be better addressed?
Thanks for your patience
Charlie
