Ditch lights
I thought it might be interesting to note that most railroads only mount ditch lights on the front of their locomotives. NS is one of the few (only US class 1?) which typically puts them on both ends. Most engineers on NS (myself included) have no problem at all running long hood out all day long, and at track speed. That would be impossible (or at least illegal) without ditch lights on both ends. Of course, NS is also one of the only railroads still using the AAR control stand instead of the desktop design, a difference which makes running long hood out practical.

Concrete
Dear sir,
to create a concrete colour I mix a "paint" of cement, wallpaper paste (as adhesive) en wet water. This will stick to most anything. On plastics it may be usefull to preglue with wallpaper paste.
best wishes,
