Canadian cabs

Too bad the author provided so much mis-information. The 'Canadian' cab was actually developed by CN. It's application to any GP locomotive could not have been done by MLW since MLW did not build any GPs; MLW built Alco designs and applied its own version of the cab to M630s and other designs. A different Canadian company, GMD, built GPs with the Canadian cab. Incidentally, the new owner of GMD - Caterpiller - has recently closed the plant and moved the jobs to a country where it doesn't have to worry about unions - the United States.
