Taking shape

That "little" project you've got going is really taking shape.  Sad we have to wait for January for more.

Les that roundhouse is super cool, and I am really enjoying the articles and following your progress.  It's making me impatient to start the mill buildings for my layout!

Taking shape

 Thank you Dave (skiloff),

I knew from the get go that the module would take several months to complete, but  I did not factor in the time required for my other obligations, like our Free-Modu-Rail layout, my responsabilities to the magazine as Advertising Mgr and the time all the conventions I attend with Joe and the crew takes up!

So unfortunately sometimes it just takes more time to do it right and document all the steps, I would not want to rush anything just to get the article out the door.

All I can say is that MRH and my modeling keeps me very busy but I am thouroughly enjoying my retirement and wouldn't have it any other way!

As of next year I will have to make a choice of whether to reduce the size of each installment and go monthly like the EZine or keep on a bimonthly basis. A lot depends on Joe and how he wants to balance out the publication.

Thanks Mike for your comments, as I mentionned it's going little slower than anticipated but every day I am making progress. I am sure that in the January issue the progress on the top of the module (roundhouse and machine shop) will be a lot more visible.

Mike don't wait too long to start your mill buildings for your layout, I know you will enjoy it. When you do, make sure to post your progress and pictures.

I want to thank all of you for your interest in my article/column and invite you to comment on all items you either like or offer alternatives or suggestions on items you dont!

I am sure a lot of you have different methods from mine and I welcome your input. By sharing information we all become better modellers!

Terrible - Terrible - Terrible

Les I think you need to just start over!! That turn Table is terrible You need to just gather up all the motors parts and pieces and walk out to the street and carefully place it all in a new clean trash can for the trash collectors!!!

Now what is your address again I want to make sure it's all in the can and is gone by morning!

Dan

Great work.
