Hey everyone, 

move been trying to program a few of my new locomotives. I'm using JMRI with a digitrax PR3 programmer. I'm using up to date software and just updated the firmware on the PR3. I have two MTH Yellowstones I'm trying to program and also two brand new BLI SD9's. The error I get is no response from locomotive. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to get them to work. This set up has been working for every other loco, Digitrax, Bacmann, older BLI etc.. 

Hey everyone. I've been laying track this week and hit a little blip. I knew it was going to be difficult, but not nearly this difficult. In one corner of my layout there is an area where the sump pump pipe comes up and through. The main line tracks (two of them) go around it at a wider-24" radius and then they yard goes between the pipe and the wall. I am going to need some of your ideas on how to lay track on the other side of it, my reach is about 3 feet, and there area where the track will be is about for.

Hi again everyone. I've been working away on the layout the last few days. All the track came in and made me get things into gear. All the foam has been painted. All the benchwork is up. The ore dock has been installed. Track laying begins tonight. Here's some picture updates. As always, if you have any thoughts, feel free to share.

Hi again everyone, 

I spent the last two days working on my ore dock for my HO DM&IR layout. It is 9 feet long and 4 tracks wide. Here's just a few pictures of the progress. Lots more left to do, as most of the chutes need to be rigged and half of them weighted. If anyone has done this before and has any tips let me know.

This blog is dedicated to following the construction of my new HO Scale Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Layout. I have built a few in the past but this one will be the pinnacle of my efforts. 

I will be updating this blog frequently with new progress on the layout. I am currently in the Design Phase and Will upload a photo of the design.
