Starting to Finish

the shelf layout I started 3 years ago. That's correct, three years of "work" are shown in the first two pictures. Not very proud of that. Most people would have done this in the first couple of days. Now that I'm working from home for the next two weeks, then on forced vacation for the third week, I may get more done, as the commute time is cut back to <30 seconds.

Now I just need to find out how to post the pictures in the Body.

Weathering Materials

In the current series of weathering videos by Mike Confalone, has anyone, including Mike produced a list of the material needed to do all the weathering covered in this series? I've come up with seveal oil paint colors and the Pan Pastels, but not sure if I've got them all.

Recent Finds at local craft store

I was in Morehead City, NC yesterday shopping and went into the local Hobby Lobby craft store to see what they had to offer. I found two interesting items that perhaps someone out there isn't aware of. Oe was a new to me type of X-Acto #11 blade with a coating on them that keeps the edge longer, and the other is a package of shaped cotton swabs from Tamiya that would seem to be useful; in weathering cars or maybe even applying grease or oil to lubricate locos.

Where was the post that talked about a digital readout soldering pencil?

I can't find it anymore and wanted to order the one for ~$55.
