This is the start of a “How-to” series on building super detailed turnouts from mainly CVT tie strips and Proto87 Stores parts. You can use some of these techniques or all of them, if you wish, to make some highly detailed and functional turnouts. In this series, we will build a turnout panel from start to finish. 

Hello all. Many of you do not know me, as I have been in the shadows and creeping on everyone else's work, absorbing ideas, learning techniques, studying prototype data, etc. I guess what I'm getting at is that for me to stop stalling and continually work on my home railroad is to set daily, weekly, monthly timeframes and to tell you, complete strangers (well not totally, I know many of you, but you know...) about my progress. So here goes... but first a background story, to ease you into the back alley of my mind.
