The Narrow Gauge Convention Floor layouts ... |
Great Lakes HOn30 Module Group (3:37) - HOn30 - This group models Maine 2' gauge railroads using HOn30 (N-gauge track in HO scale). They feature diminuitive rolling stock and a number of very scenic modules. |
The Mudhens (7:05) - HOn3 - The Mudhens models Colorado style 3' narrow gauge in HO scale. Their modules are designed to fit together in a (mostly) continuous flow of scenery. They aim for realistic but spectacular scenery. |
The Sn2 Crew (2:49)- Sn2 - This group models Maine 2' gauge railroading in S scale (1:64). They are Free-mo and the layout is free flowing. They increase the number of modules each member can fit in their vehicle as well as reducing the sqft of scenery to be constructed by keeping modules narrow. |
Red Mountain Narrow Gauge (5:59) - Sn3 - The McKenzie brothers have constructed a jewel-like S-scale Colorado-style 3' narrow gauge layout. Great looking scenery, the locos run well, smooth track that features no inter-module track sections, and animations such as a movable water tank spout make this a great layout. |
Texas Outlaws (5:26) - On30 - This large group of modlers has members in a number of different states. They get together regularly at shows with this modular layout which they claim has never been assembled twice in the same manner. |
Sundance Central (9:08) - Fn3 - This is a HUGE F scale (1:20.3) 3' narrow gauge layout. Needless to say, everything about this layout is HUGE and features an extreme level of detailing which is only possible in large scale. |
